Re: Trip 2 the beach! thanks amn, ya it was fun, when i got home i started to clean it and now i have decided to get to locking up those diffs, i have an rc car action magazine with how to lock the diffs on a TXT-1 and they use JB weld, im thinking of useing that, is that a good idea? also i have the rear ale pritty much free and i plane on just droping the bottom of the axel case to get to the diff, i hope and not have to take all of the links off of it, i only have to 2 that connect to the shock off, i still have the 4 links so any sujestions on when i should use to lock the diff? also let me know what you think of the beach pics! |
Re: Trip 2 the beach! Use JB weld. It is super strong. For how to get to the diff i ain't the person to ask cause i got a clod. I don't know a peice of dirt about a txt-1 besides the fact you should cut the frame. |
Re: Trip 2 the beach! I used JB Weld. But the rear broke itself free once. Simply re-JB'd it. I just dropped the bottom of the axle to get to the diff. An alternative to using JB Weld can be found in the RCRockGear forum, it's called SNOT. |
Re: Trip 2 the beach! Nice pics, I would like to go crawling on the beach sometime but they are pretty hard to come by here in Nebraska :x Oh yeah and proof read your posts before you submit them. It makes them really hard to read otherwise. |
Re: Trip 2 the beach! you can also use hot glue to lock your diffs. |
