Default Finally Made A Servo Mount

Hello all
After many months of wanting to make a different servo mount, finally did it. Nothing too fancy, accomplished what I wanted to. Replaced all the stock pieces with aluminum of course. This includes lower link mount and canti mount blocks and the servo mount plates. Total there are six new pieces. Seems to work quite well and don't have that silly bumper hanging way out in front the tires anymore. One thing I don't like too much is the steering linkage itself. It works yes, but just doesn't look right. Might dig around on the board here and see what others have done with steering servo mounts like mine as far as linkage. We'll see. Thought I'd share some pics.

Looks good Bill.
I would suggest adding some holes so that you can move the lower link mounting point to above the axle. That would give you some more clearance. I have seen alot of TXT's done that way.

Keep up the good werk.

Hello all
After running a few packs decided to rearrange the steering linkage. Can't remember but I believe this like it was stock. Works much better, actually steers lock to lock now looks nicer too . Going to add another link mounting option to the upper block to move the lower link up there as Grizzly suggested. Time permitting, might ditch the rear bumper pieces on the rear as well and make a rear steer lock out for now. Someday I'll switch over to 4WS. Pics of changed linkage..........

Hey Jason............ no beans to spill.........not making beadlocks. That wheel in the photo was actually a sample I got at a machine show years ago. It is quite large, 'bout 5th scale size I would guess. Figured someone would inquire about it
