Hey guys. I'm going with the TTR T/E Maxx wheel adapters and am going to run the X-75 Maximizer wheels. My question is -----> what are a really good set of tires I can put on them???? I'm hoping to achieve some more ground clearance by going to some bigger tires. Does anybody have any suggestions for tires???? Thanks again for all the help i've gotten here at RCcrawler.com. I love this place. Todd.. |

I'd say BFT's I like the that they are slightly narrower than the others. Just under 7" on a narrowed rim. I've cut a nice tread into them and have had nothing but success.

I think the LST's are possilbly one of the best out the of box tires because you really do not need to modify them at all. The LST tires are very soft and will not last very long if you have alot of wheel speed. I have rounded off ALL my edges allready and IMO have lost some traction. However I think a properly cut set of BFT's (like rckjeeps) have better traction in some narly situaltions when you need it the most. If you don't mind cutting up the tread and glueing on some side lugs then the BFT's are one of the best tires out there. They also do not wear as quickly as the LST's. |
