Ya that should work fine, just make sure that the radio's channel that you use can keep it in the gear you want, because on my 3 channel JR radio the third channel switch has center right and left and after you push it forward it always returns to center unless you hold it. So if you wanted to stay in first you'd have to hold the switch forward, and as soon as you'd let go it would return to center and it would'nt be in first or second but in between.

Oh ya and skipstr about your link mounts did you just take a plate and drill all those holes or was it something that already had holes because I think I'm going to do the same thing.

That is going to be a very sweet crawler. The tube chassis Bronco idea was awsome. I will be awaiting updates on this one !

Thanks1 I was just screwing around with some dummy links I got with the juggy. I'm waiting for some huge ball ends, but I wanted to check for binding. This set up looks like its working good. Now I need to figure out how to get the savage shocks to let the axle cycle that much. I was impressed how centered it stayed.

I've seen a cage that looks like that before somewhere.

Hey we'll copying is the sincerest form of flattery.

Anyways when it's all done you'll know who's is who's. The only part that I copied was the link mounts anyway. One thing I did notice though was that the bottom of our cages do look similar. But the cage I modled mine after was a 1:1 scale tuber that was on ebay.

Well my truck will end up being kinda heavy, so I did some serching and found some really large ball ends. Well I got the ends, but the balls have been on back order now for some time, like two weeks. I might give up on them, but they are sweet. Then electronic, and some tweeking. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for looking out for me 4Xadict. I have gave up on the GS ball ends. I had the HS call and they dont know when they will have them. I might get the ones u found, but they are a bit pricey. i do like that they are metal though, and that may make them worth it. My truck will be on the heavey side.

Have you tryed searching online at hobby shops like horizonhobby.com or towerhobbies.com, I'm sure someone has the ball for the rod ends.

I was just looking on tower and they have a pretty good deal if you want some metal rod ends, and they are the correct size. Still alittle pricey though. Here's the link
