There should be a crawler contest that will be in R/C Car Action in the summer sometime. RC4WD will be hosting it and I will keep you posted. I am in Ontario Canada and I will most likely be there with my Juggy. I don't know where it will be becasue I don;t think there are any definite plans yet so I will PM you when I get info. jugg_crawler

Welcome. Your project will need to have updates and pictures! Post up some pics of your Juggy.... also post up some pics of your Toy as there are a few wheelers on here, I'm one of 'em. We, ORCRC(Oregon RC Rock Crawlers), are having our first crawling comp this coming Sunday. Check out the Competition forum here and you'll see it posted. More than welcome to make the long drive north

Thanks guys for the info.. yea the drive north is a little far for me this weekend.. I wish I would have took pics of my toyota before and after, but i just got my solid axle swap parts in and I will document that project. I've done the rear and the AOR parts I used were great, so I went to them for the front.. My jug is set to arrive tomorrow (friday) and I will take pics along the way.. I'm glad I found this site.. and thanks again guys.. Heres the start of the design, and previous cages. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mck...en%3as,4%3af,0 and my work in progress... http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mck...seye/my_photos

Cut the tires and am working on bead locks.. I took .75" off the inside, and .25" off the outside. I might not end up using these tires/rims, but It looks like it would work and is a 6" tall tire. I'll use them untill they come out with a crawler tire and then work on making some rims.

Sorry about that.. I took a few pics before I finished up the other two for a comparison. I ended up taking another .375" off the inside rim, and another .25" off the tires.

I'm using Ironcad 3d. I just got a E-max tranny, so I might be ditching the gear redution box, unless it needs it. I'm currently working on the placment (mount) for the servo on the axle.

I got the link brackets, and the servo mount done. The far link brackets will also be the shock mount. the pic was just a mock up, untill I get the longer screws it needs. These were cut useing stainless, but the final ones will be titainum. We have a little extra at the shop thats perfect thickness. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mck...seye/my_photos

So I have seen people use tmax/savage rims on jugg axles, but who is making the adapter. I havent found it . I desinged one , but they would be a machined piece, and would take time to machine. So do you guys know of anybody who makes this adapter? If not I'm gonna make some.. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mck...seye/my_photos
