Axle Gear Ratio

Im in the middle of a project and I was wondering if someone knows the correct gear ratio for the TXT-1 axle alone. I tried to compute for it and I get 2.1 : 1 but not sure if that is correct. I tried to search the forum which mostly hits only for tranny gear ratio. This make it even more confusing cause now I'm not sure how the 34 : 1 ratio will be achieve if the axle gear ratio I've computed is 2.1 : 1. Hope someone can shed some light

Thanks "thumbsup"

The Axles are indeed 2:1 that is an easy one to figure out  I have heard that the final reduction with 15t pinions is 34:1

Yeah, you're right, axle gear ratio is 1:2,1 not 1:2,0

What did the reduction used to go for? I found the gears in 303 stainless with hub for $17 each for the 40t and $15 for the 12t pinion also in stainless. Both are module 1 metric gears. If someone could preceisely measure the diameter of their gears to confirm these are correct, I will post links.

So the 40T w/Hub is meant to drive TXT-1 inner axles shafts?

If so what is your source - I would LOVE to get some! :)

Also the diameter should be the same as others - if it is a 40t Mod 1 gear then the 40t and the Mod 1 gear specification will ensure the diameters are the same.
