Default txt axle questions

has anybody narrowed a txt axle and can you narrow a txt axle

Not sure what the stock width is, anything is possible with the right tools and a bit of custom work. This guy got his down to 9 1/4" hex to hex.

Honestly, you might be better off just going with Axial axles. If you want more beef than that, another axle that's easy to narrow is the Twin/Mad Force axles.

i was try to make them fit under a jeep jk body and scx10 frame and trans

I did this set up but the problem was the top of the axles where hitting the scx-10 chassis. These axles where narrow alsoi had narrow under 10 outside tire to outside tires.I was also running cvds in front.

Cut the axle housing glue made some alumm. brackets and used the holes in cases.here is some pic

Cut the cases made little brackets to hold cases together.On the axle shaftes had a buddy weld them up.

If you go under ebay look up TXT-1 there on the bottom for like 20.00 shipped
