Default Project Low Rider TXT

Ok So, I saw the rig Dirk I mean Patrick is selling and it got my thinking. Ok I can't lie, it got me cutting. And project Low Rider was born.

Here's some pics

Next I plan on inboarding the shocks and changing my battery position.

What do you guys think so far?

Sweet dude! I am yet to make a rig too low ;)

You know, I think they're made the software here change all instances of Dirk to Patrick? Weird. So, if I were to change Dirk to Dirky, it would read Patricky?

EDIT: Yeah, the work "Dirk" no longer exists at RCC :?

Body of shots will wait till I get the shocks where I want them. Thanks guys. I hadn't worked on my TXT since my tranny & Chassis cutting thread. I thought I couldn't do anything else to it. But then I said to myself I can always cut more.

I would say it probaly lowers your CG

By the way lookin great. This was the thing that I liked so much about "tight squeeze" and now the "rock jeep" is right there with it.
It makes them look alot more realistic lookin also

From the pics it seems you cut off the Y-shaped portions at each end of the chassis for the shocks. Then it looks like you mounted the body posts directly to the chassis to lower the body. Is that it? I dunno what else you could possibly cut.

That'll be $100 please! for the use of my nifty ideas.

I have been mounting my bodies directly to the chasis for some time now, at least a year now, and it really is amazing at how much it lowers your cg. You wouldn't think that a lexan body would change things so much.

After seeing Kaetwo's V2 rig with his body "super slammed", I did the same thing with my V2. You just have to cut the body so it fits around anything that sticks up too high. Looks and works awesome. I think Kaetwo calls his rig the Furless Yetti........I guess I'll call my the furless scrodum.

So thanks to Badger I got some new lower shock mounts and hopefully get some flex back into Project Low Rider.

Time to update that avatar man!

I remember when I said to myself, "Self, time to get seriouser."
It was at that moment I removed the stock body mount posts, and supports, and removed the cantilever set-up, and put the body mount posts directly onto the chassis. It was a good moment. Low riders look ten times cooler. I've gone back and forth with the cantilevers, and have had to cut big holes in the body for the shocks to poke through, but that body will always be slammed low rider style.

All my homies ride in the low rider...

I've been wanting to lose the canti's and run my new Integy piggyback's upright. Rckjeep has inspired me! My TXT went under the knife last night.
