Default Gecko2 for the TXT?

It looks like the Gecko2 would work on a TXT. Would that be a worthwhile swap? This would be mostly for crawling but I'm sure I'll want to bash a bit with it too.

You would have a hard time mounting the transmission. I could take some pictures of mine if you wanna see. I have heard RCGuy is comming out with a TXT-1 chassis, but thats just what I have heard. I would just go another way then trying to mount a tranny to a Gecho2. I would fabricate your own instead of throwing down 199.00 for a Gecho2 and chopping it all up to make a tranny fit. And you will have to chop it up. Then probally decreasing its performence trying to make room for the xtra drive train components.

The Gecko2 is a 4-link chassis for the Tamiya Clodbuster. You can find them at www.rcguy.com and www.rc4wd.com.

The only thing that I noticed that was different between the gecko and gecko two was the bottom cnc machined links.
