Default Alot of new changes too the "Farm Boy Special"(New

Well i did alot of changes too the "Farm Boy Special" today.
1.finally got some LST's thanks too 1beatjeep
2.postitioned my shocks further back for more travel
3.reversed my servo and body so my battery is now in the front
4.lowered it a about an 1" but still have 4'1/2"of under chassis clearence
5.moved my body back an 1" for more tire clearence

last night before i did these changes 1beatjeep myself and his son went crawling at a spot around the corner from my house it was cool and "cold" 1beatjeeps son trashed hid "BODY" if your 1beatjeep you'll know why its capitalized and in qutations.

on to the new mods pictures

tell me what you think of the changes

Damn, Red. Three mistakes in one sentence, are you going for a record or something?

Have you crawled it yet with the new shock position? How do you like it?

Looks good bigred.

I would mount the shocks inside the frame rails to give you a little more articulation.

And why do you still have the rear body mount on?

thanks badger,i still have the rear mounts on becuase i did'nt get around to cutting the back yet it was getting sark so i thought i would take a pic of it so far but i will cut them tonight. Also its so well balenced that that i can climb up a wall untill the front tires just come off of the wall, and it will balence on its back tires only.also i did get to test it in my back yard and i like the shock postition but im going to do what badger told me to get a little more travel thanks

why would you want it on there?
All it's doing is increasing the cg and overall weight of the rig. It's not like you are going to suffer from a flat and have to use a spare tire....especially one that is mounted on the truck.

i just did that becuase i had it laying around and zip tied it on i might keep it or not.................now that i think about it,my truck is so well balenced that i can drive up a wall untill the front tires come off and balence on my rear wheels only.......so that tire is just going to mess that up IM TAKIN IT OFF

It looks to me like you have very little flex. I understand your not wanting to much flex, but a reasonable amount of flex is nice in some situations.

If you ever make it to a get-together on time I can show you want I am talking about.

I say leave the spare tire on, you don't want to mess up your paint job do ya?
