Hey guys,

This is my first crawler, and so far,I think its going pretty O.K.

Specs:

Chessis:TXT-1 hacked like a mutha with custom shock mounts
WB:15 1/2"
Tranny/Axes:txt/txt
Shocks:stock savage shocks.
ESC:EVX.Had one laying around.Waiting for TR2
Servos:CS80 f/r.Waiting for those,also
Wheels/Tires:40 series outbacks on 40 series reg. moabs
battery mounted on axles
GD600 in the mail

Before I started modding the truck,I somehow managed to snap the tranny "arms",so I havent driven her in a while..Ive tried to hold it down with zipties, but no luck.

Pics:

Hacked chassis with custom skid

Shock mounts

I miscalculated on one of the mounts,so it has an extra hole

Mounted on chassis

Axle mounted with shocks to chassis

Electronics mount

Good COG

Battery..Just temerary.NOT WORKING

Let me know what you guys think so far..This is my first build,so I know its nothing great...Critisism is welcome if needed Thanks guys!!

Btw:im only 15=)

I only think the battery inside the wheel works when you use the XTM thorn wheels, they will hold the 40's series tire, but has a little bigger of an OD. Looks good though

hey guys,

I have a little problem..I took the driveshafts(revo) apart, and when I try to put them together,it has a hard time,so its not moving freely..I think its because theres air in there..Is there a way I can have it moving free again?THANKS!

The Revo shaft's splines are "timed." Are the yokes on the female and male ends lined up? They should be, if they're not they'll bind.

Moved to the TXT forum.

Are you going to add a brace between the tops of the shock towers? It would make your towers alot stronger. Mine have taken a beating from all the rollovers.

Is that a battery wire going across the front of your tie rod? Seems like that might get chewed up in a hurry.

Got some parts in today:

65t lathe
1/4 scale hitec 805 BB servo(front)
1/4 scale hitec 745 BB servo(rear)
OTher goodies that I can think of off the top of my head.Took me a while to make servo mounts.Say 1 hour to make the fronts!=).I dunno, ran into some roadblocks, but got her done=)

yeah, the wire WAS in front.I moved it,so its on top of the link=).RIght height is a little high right now,and I might change it.So far,its been ok.
