Default Replacement axle gears

I have looked high and low on tower's site for these gears and can not find them. Any suggestions?

5495023 Drive Gear (M16)

9445933 Diff. cover & ring gear (MR19 & MR20)

These are the last two gears in the axle between the input and axleshafts. Mine are toast and I need some replacements.

RCAlloys has the diff gear if I need to go that way
http://www.rcalloys.com/pricelist/txtspool.html
but I still need the drive gear.

Help a newbie shafty guy please.
Thanks

You could order straight through Tamiya. They show the ring gear/ diff cover in stock for 12.50. And the drive gear for 3.20. Hope this helps.

That spool from RC Alloys looks interesting....
too bad they don't sell different tooth counts & matching pinions to change the ratio a bit.
I wonder if any gears from tower would fit onto the empty spool.... hmmmm...

Griz I would grab this stuff to while you have the chance. This way you will not be in the same boat when you need these gears.

Yeah, I'm suprised there isn't a ton more interest in something like that. I think it will have more effect on torque twist than anything else! Obviously you'd still need a well designed suspension, but for those of us who have very little torque twist as it is, changing the axle ratio would get rid of it almost completely, and help with any of the quirky handling characteristics that show up in tipsy situations. I would love to be able to run more even spring rates, all the way around.
