Yeah, that looks like a stock TXT alright. Was it hard to assemble out of the box or did you find it easy? :flipoff:

Why is the body up so high? It doesn't have any realism to it, it looks like you just set it on top of there.

Lots of potential though ;)

It is one of the nicer RTR bodies. The only one I like as much or more is the Silver EMaxx bodies.

Re: PROJECT: Pebble Pounder is finally underway

the first mod you should make is to raise the body.

Totally. And lift it up a lot.

In fact, don't use shocks, just put in 6" links in place of them, that well it'll be hella tall and have no body roll..

:flipoff:

Re: PROJECT: Pebble Pounder is finally underway

great idea Dave.
But I would use wood dowels for the body posts. I would also make them at least 5 feet tall. That way, you can just stand beside the body at almost eye level and look for scratches.

Re: PROJECT: Pebble Pounder is finally underway

5 foot tall body posts should allow plenty of air to cool a non Super Rooster ESC for those looking to save $

Great Ideas!

Re: PROJECT: Pebble Pounder is finally underway

I never thought of that Ace. Good one! It would also allow access to actually get inside of the truck and wrench on it. No more taking the body off and setting the truck on the work bench!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ace....PM me your addy....I forgot....I owe you some money!!
