Default new body for the TXT

Here's my Rubicon body. It's a rough cut. I'll cut more tomorrow. It looks good from a far but crap up close.

This thing is huge compared to my CJ body, oh and I added a thin lexan skid under my alum. skid for extra sliding. We'll how it works this weekend.

That thing turned out great. What part of it looks like crap when you get close?

Everything looks like crap. The yellow paint was really thin and transparent. Then I tried to back it up with white and it was old and splattered. Then I used some grey primer and since the yellow was trans. its a bit darker. Plus all the masking didn't seal well and ran. Oh and the silver was old too and came out crappy. So I filled it in with a brush.

Red, I've been painting RC bodies longer than you've been alive. And your one color primer job with a one color airbrush job, you are hardly one to talk.

Ohh sh!t thats funny!

I personally think the flames are good looking.

And bigred, ohh mighty paint master... why don't you bless all of us with your rules of painting flames. You see, I want to be a flamer like you and could use your expertise.

oh I forgot something. Red you've got about as much color sense as you have height or weight, or good looks, or fab skills.

I'm dyin' over here, you guys are too funny...

But seriously, I think it's a good looking body. Of course, I'm not a professional painter either, there could well be flaws that my untrained eye can't spot, but what can't see does hurt the way it looks to me, eh?
