16 inch wheel base
5 inches of chassis clearence
revos
intellispeed esc 16t mild mod with rev
bluebird servos coated in plasti-dip
and 3 channel radio for independent 4ws :)

How is that a chameleon paint. I thought chameleon paint shifted colors. And is that silicone paint or what? (for the waterproofing). I hope the servo has metal gears and you don't ever need to open it up :flipoff:

and its actually plastic dip its kind of a rubbery type substance and can be cut with a razor blade....

it doesnt completely waterproof it but i can now withstand being in water for a certain period of time....

Re: Project Chameleon Update 12/19 PICS!!!

You can do the chameleon paint job for like 20 bucks, just use duplicolor mirage. You can get it at walmart, its got 3 cans to it, and you read the instructions, and do the opposite of what they say (they have a certain way of painting, you just do that backwards)

me and my friend plastic dipped all of our servos and we balooned out revievers on our T-Maxxes we completely submerged our servos in watter and mud and they were just fine... we got our plastic dip at home depot. (just dont smell it, you could die)

i took the lst wheels and cut the spokes out so it was just a circle... then a narrowed the txt wheels and left the webbing in them and then slid tem into the lst wheels and used sheet metal screws to hold em together!

Sweet rig.

Steering links that run from knuckle to knuckle.. You might gain a little clearance for your approach angles if you mount them to the tops of the knuckles instead of beneath them. This may also straighten out your steering rod from servo to knuckle.
