Probably not, being in a crawler. The holes for the cables will let in air, an I cut two slits in the cover to let warm/hot air out. I think that'll be ok.

Did some tooling around the house an decided the shocks needed more work. It now has 80wt in the right-rear and left-front, with 60WT in the others. Also stood the shocks up a bit. The suspension still feels a bit soft, but we'll see how it handles if the sun ever comes back. Here's mandatory flex shot #3! ![]() ![]() |

The front now has CVD's and alum knuckles. ![]() Had to bend the tie rod just a little to clear the diff, an now I need a longer servo horn to really take advantage of all that. Pics will come when the servo horn does. ![]() |

Got a new motor! It's a HolmesHobbies Torquemaster pro 45T. I'm gonna try a 9T on the motor with no GD600. Also went back to one battery in the chassis like it was originally. ![]() |

Yep. This way if I ever do want to add rear-steering I just need to swap the tie rod.

Here's a shot of the CVD's and wideners. The front is 1" wider than the rear now. ![]() Got a new Hitec 7955 installed with a longer horn: ![]() An here's a couple shots of the steering at full lock. The front of the front axle is now the steering stop for each side. ![]() ![]() |
