Default txt tranny questions

1: what is the gear ratio of the stock txt trans?
2: is anyone running pede, xxx, stealth or other trannies in their comp TXTs?

i wanna ditch the stock tranny and ive got an extra pede laying around. i want something lower in the chassis and lighter if possible.

1. Middle list of numbers in this sticky : TXT Tranny - GD600 Gearing Chart

2. I know of people that have removed the Pede tranny and went back to the TXT tranny. Best thing to do it rotate it to get the motor lower. It's a near bulletproof tranny.

Cory, who's on a TXT answering spree lately.
