Hack it like Mazlem did in his recent thread, then mount the shocks in a more traditional style?

BENDER 07-08-2006 09:18 PM

Shock towers look nice all mounted up, I wish mine were that nice. ;-)

Hack that CJ-8 up.

Looks good:!: Hope I can get my build up in the txt section in the next couple weeks.

Looks good. Got to love the Savage shocks and tall shock towers. They made a world of difference on my TXT.

i would run that body on the truck and make holes where the shocks wood go throw and cut the body on bottom to get a nice edge.

That's how I did mine.

dieselfuel 07-09-2006 06:37 PM

beautiful truck! ive been thinking about doing shock towers and savage shocks... i might pick up a se soon and start messing around, but right now i like my txt... its simple, nothing flashy.

1beatjeep 07-09-2006 09:33 PM

just like that ONE SICK TXT.

dieselfuel 07-09-2006 09:43 PM

im seriously debating between doing a suspension like yours or keeping it short and stiff like it is... ive built my truc like a longer version of EeePee's txt and it works very well... but ive seen some impressive trucks on here with a lot more travel... i dunno.
