Roid V4

I made some drastic changes to my TXT this week. The scale look I once had is now thrown out the window.

I reconfigured my shocks. Changed the both the upper and lower mounting positions. This setup is extremly simple.

Relocated my upper links and straightened the bent ones.

Relocated my ESC. The body mount took it's spot.

I was forced to relocate my body mounts, so now they are on the side. It reminds me of some clods I have seen only better because it has big fat shafts! :flipoff:

I will be trimming my body some more tonight.

My rig stats are now:

16" WB
~4" center clearance

Thanks, Yep Revo shafts. IMO the only way to go since they are so easy to mount and SOOO beefy!

I'd rather have none than 2!!! Having none means I can play with my boobs. Having two would make me really uncomfortable :puke: :flipoff:

I don't know yet, I have only crawled it in my garage over the piles of clothes that my lazy wife should be washing.

I'll let you know more tomorrow or Sunday when I put a woopin on the nor-cal guys!

I like it Badger, looks like it means biznez. 8)

I liked the way it looked before better, but I understand why you changed it.
The only problem is, now everyone else will change so that they can keep up. Then everybody will be equal just like before except you can climb bigger rocks and the scale look is dead. :( Been there.

With all that said, Roid is looking good though. 8)

Yeah I agree. I told myself I would not try and turn this into a comp rig and dammit I just can't stop moddin it! I did really like it when it looked scale but it just did not perform as well as I wanted.

I plan on getting on the TLT scale band wagon so that will be my scale truck.

And if this dumb ass kid ever gets back to me I might get my hands on a bruiser that will be crawled and not stored.

Hey nice rig you got there! Looks mean! I like the new changes you've made.

I'm curious about your battery configuration and how you remove it. From the pics it looks kinda hard to reach. Is it still easy to get to?

Thanks.

You must have missed my thread on my skid plate mounted battery system. I love it, and it s actually extremly easy to replace the battery and I do not have to take my body off. 8)

the skid plate pivots and is held in place by body clips. It's pretty sick. but don't tell Badg, his head might swell.

Yup guess I missed that one  Man, that's a great execution of that swiveling skid plate idea. I've had the concept floating in my head for a while but haven't been able to think of a good way to do it. Great job! Really giving me a better picture of how to re-do mine :D

I can't wait to see a video of it now!

Could this be a clod killer?

With the weight being so low it does crawl pretty well. And now with my new shock setup I am hoping it does better up steep inclines. 8)

As far as it being a clod killer - Shiiiit this thing has been a clod killer since it was a baby! :flipoff:

It should climb great. It looks like your shock position and link geometry are close to that on the latest version of my truck..... works Awesome!

I have never ran a GD600 in my TXT, I have always had a mammoth in there.
