rewired the motors today lots more torque and beadlocked the stock tyres with screws. still working out the steering situation i have chucked the servo saver its a real heap of crap. now its a arm screwed straight to the servo. when i get a chance ile chuck that dumb servo mount and make my own

When I do a two motor TXT I wire the motors in series. Slower speed, longer times.

more torque too i recon . goes ok so far for stock motors stock gearing and a esc thats only made to run 1 silver can not 2

With them in series, the ESC is actually seeing a ~54 turn motor.

i understand this but it still gets warm lol is there any point gearing down the stock motors or am i better off getting a decent one and gearing those down?

Oh, yeah, try em with nine tooth pinions, big difference.

And if you're going to spend money on a motor, go brushless, get a Revolver.

Here's my 14'r just after I took the Revolver out. Series wired, 9 tooth pinions.

went to the lhs today and the 9tooth pinions are on the way plus the replacement gears for my first servo and a steel gear hitec servo is on order
