Default TWISTED is almost done!!! 56K Warning....

I've been talking about posting this for a while and here we go... here is the progression up to what i have now... Here are the old pics:

And after throwing stuff and trying to figure out the suspension... here is where it sits now. I am still waiting on 2 6mm ball nuts, double sided tape (nevermind the zip ties), and i still have to turn down the shaft on my gd600... agian:

yeah... that should probubly be more then enough..... Sorry about the blurry pics, cheap camera. iff you notice, i mounted the spings to the canti's so i can rotate the mounting points to adjust the angle of the shocks so i can get her dialed in.....

i actually left the stock canti holes there ready to use but it sat way to tall and did not have that great of articulation... once i get the gd600 done i am going to play with different setups, has anyone else tried using the savage shocks on a txt to the old canti holes? pics come in handy... i also noticed that the savage shocks have a rubber tube around the bottom of the shaft... i am going to cut them off tonight and see if that helps... by looking at it .. it should.

I didn't have much luck mounting savage shocks to stock chassis, I had to build custom mounts for it to work right.
I also thought about cutting bump stops(rubber tubes), but, I noticed plunger inside shock will hit shock cap at full compression.
At least that's what I noticed w/ Hot Bodies savage shocks.
Go to TXT talk and click on ROCTAPUS, if I had any computer skills I would have put link here, for pics of my set-up.

I see that your servo seems to be close or past the front tires, which that thing is going to get killed on a rock when climbing a steep face.
