Default 'Pede tranny...

ok, so my definative search and destroy quest has begun on finding my TXT axles, and i was just wondering, will a 'pede tranny be sturdy enough to turn these things with max size wheels on it?

i have a SW2 right now, and i was gonna use the tlt axles for a scale project, and the 'pede gearbox and chassis for a 16" truck.

any advice will be a great help, as i have never seen or dealt with TXT axles in person...

I run a Pede in 14" SW2 truck. I haven't had any problems and it works great. However, I did run one in a 16.5" truck with Moabs, and it stripped out as soon as I tried going over a rock. I dont know if it was becuase the tranny was really old, or if it was too much stress. I have been told that if you get the aluminum idler, you wont have any problems.

I ran a Stampede transmission on a TXT with Moabs and destroyed the Main Gear about every three battery packs. This is Traxxas part number 2381 and 2382 for the plantaries that go in it. Went back to the TXT trans and have had no problems.
