I would:

1. Buy 1 Integy lathe motor and ditch the two stock cans.
http://www.hobby-sports.com/store.php search for this part # INTSCM5501

2. Buy a gd600 gear reduction. You can swivel the the way you mount it to also fix your odd tranny mount/battery position angles. This will also allow you to run only one motor. You will increase your run times and get WAY more torqe.

3. Make better servo mount's. Your's sitck out too far, which kills your approach angle and put the servo out in harms way.

4. Buy either Integy MSR4 maxx shocks or XTM shocks and axle mount them.

looks good for the most part. i like that skid plate the bolts on the skid stick out to far. and what badger said i use a tition motor and a gd600 it works good. i dont think you need a lathe motor with a gd600. you could use a 28000 rpm stock motor and gear down .

lathe motors are like big blocks tons of torqe great for clods were you cant gear down low . gd gives you all the gear you could want so you can use the stock cans. my 69 camaro has a sbc that gose 7800 rpms so i us 4.11 my budy has a 460 that revs 5800 so he uses 373 . the torqe pulls the truck off the line i use gears to get torqe to get me off the line!!

its the same for rc

I disagree. yes a gd600 give you all the low gearing you need but if you gear the gd600 properly you can also use a lathe motor. I have a 15T pinion on the gd600 and a 18T pinion on the motor, this give me a 82.8 ratio which is high but with the lathe motor I get the low end torqe I need. (Thanks for the gear reduction class last night rckjeep)

The reason I will ONLY run a lathe motor on any truck is because of it being a 55T motor that produces a shit load of torqe and also draws less amps then any typical motor and that gives you longer run times!

gd-600 and a 3.8 on motor and a 16 on the gd-600 gives you so much torqe with the kyosho magnetic mayhem is the best motor for the txt and the run time is about 1hr and 15-30min run time.
