Leaf Spring TXT Scale Rig

Anyone ever build a scale rig with TXT axles and leaf springs? Think the Jugg springs would do well? I mean, they were intended for a large truck to begin with. Body would be an issue, but there are always the large-scale Nikko type vehicles you could cannibalize a nice hard shell from. If anyone's got some pics, post 'em up.

I thought the axles were similar?

They are the same as a matter of fact the jugg 2 cases and the txt cases are the same part number.

So, basicly that means Leaf springs will be no problem for those axles.

Good to know - I've never really payed much attention to the Jugg.

Edit - For some reason I thought the Jugg used a double elliptical setup, but I was mistaken. It uses shackles at both spring eyes though - that's what I was thinking of.

I dont see why not. It may actually provide a much smoother ride with better articulation.

You can do a set up similar to this. It may be clod axles but the TXT's could be set up the same way. I used a lawnmore recoil spring that I aquired from the local mower place about 3 months ago. I cut them, heated and raped around a 3/16" brake line I had laying around.

And I know on ebay there is a 1/5 scale hummer for sale right now.
