hey guys i was wondering is a 55 turn lathe motor [ 9 tooth pinion] and 72 tooth spur gear on the emaxx tranny better than a gd600 on the stock txt tranny. Also I have 2 esc a super rooster and a rooster which one is better for a emaxx tranny set up I'm also using gp3300 matched batteries.THX FOR ANY REPLIES

If your using larger tires, you'll need the GD on the maxx tranny with the GD. I like the maxx tranny becuase of the durability, however, the TXT tranny is smaller and just as durable.

I run a maxx tranny in mine w/ a gd, and a 55turn. I tried it w/out the gd and it stalled alot, then i tried w/ a silver can and a gd, a little better but still stalled in 1st gear, now even w/ the lathe and the gd it stalls when bound, although once i broke both rear shafts at the same time!

THX THE INFO >what if i used 2 lathe motors or MM in series on the emaxx tranny would i still need a gear reducer?
