Default Z-Maxx TXT MT Build

Working with a known RC Monster Truck chassis designer, I was able to get the CAD files for AL MT chassis he designed and had some buddies rework a couple things on it in CAD.
I changed the upper link locations to allow adjustability for various axles, re worked the cab a bit and cab location.
Works with Clod axles, wraith axles and TXT axles that I know of. I built one on wraith axles last summer.
I had three chassis cut for me to test and play around with.
Ended up going with delrin as chassis material, delrin chassis supports and AX10 AL skid.

Thanks. Here is the one I built up with wraith axles. I still have another chassis left that I will build up with clod axles, probably.

Yeah, son. These axles were cool to work on.

Wow! Lucky you to find the Spools to do the 4:1 Mod! Those are a thing of the past for sure! I have a trick up my sleeve to make 4:1 axles.. and as soon as life slows down enough to give me a chance to try it out - I will. If it works - then I will definitely share the wealth

I had never worked on the TXTs before this build. Eddie at Crawler Innovations just mailed me all the TXT goodies.
4:1 TXT axles? Or custom 4:1 axles?

Long pass through bolts for link/shock mounts.

Rear driveshaft setup

Front driveshaft with good clearances on trans/motor. Using Crawler Innovations 6mm outputs and BWD motor plate.

Rear

Motor clears skid

Side profile with new parts. I thought the driveshaft angles would but more sever but thankfully they are not.

Thanks. Eddie will be getting this truck back next week. He'll be adding the electronics and mounting the Ford body. I am sure he'll have some video of it before too long.

Well I had this truck back for a while now, thanks to Travis. It's already gone through a number of changes since it's arrival back. I installed electronics and got it running.

I installed hitec servos front and rear, castle creations ESC & Bec; futaba 4 PK receiver, traxxas Titan brushed motor; 3S lipo. Everything was fine for several battery packs until I finally stripped the front servo gears while trying a brushless motor out.

The truck was originally built around a pro line F6 50 super duty body, but I really didn't care for it. I had a Parma 41 Willys body laying around the shop that I was able to have painted. The body turned out so fantastic, that I've been reworking the entire truck to fit the body.

So all eight titanium links were replaced with shorter links and consequently reworking other issues with clearance around the servos and whatnot.

Mockup:

Painted body:

So while I have it torn apart to adjust the wheelbase, I'm also taking care of the scale accessories. Here's mockup of the motor & the Dinky RC fuel-cell that I painted with a freaky skins fuel cell sticker kit on some RC four-wheel-drive aluminum diamond plate.
