Default how to narrow txt-1 wheels with 2 cuts and no glueing

step 1 dismount wheels by methog of choice
step 2 take ordinary, run of the mill snuv nose pliers
step 3 eyeball the width of the bead( or meaur if you feel like it
step 4 take ordinary pliers and grab ahold of te "vanes" or crossmembers and proseed to rip/tear out the aforementioned eyeballed width
step 5 take hacksaw/dremel/stake loaf o bread and remove the old channel where th bead sat. savine the old inner lip as the new uter lip
step 6 glue on tires

you now have a wheel that is approx/ 1.5 inches narrower and you didn't sacrfice ant strutural integrity. and you didn't change the offset or backspacing

pics in a few

If I understand your method, it's the same thing I did.
And this is the result after some use. All four wheels are like this.

Man is that booty fab method. And EP My rock rings would solve that problem. But I ran narrowed TXT wheels without rock rings for a long time without any issues. Though my method to narrow them was a tad more civialized.

true, but when you have a pair of pliers and ca glue ya do what ya gotta. plus i am cheap, plus i am lazy. as a matter of fact i should have just typed cheap and lazy cause it was shorter.

I have a dremel but i ran out of cut off wheels and those thinks are like 8 bucks for 5 man.

Why don't use just chew off the sections of the rim you don't want? You probably get similar results.
