I just built my txt-1. All i have right now are 1500 nicd's. Running with an F1 speed control, my run times are around 5 mins. Is this about average?

Under hardcore crawling, basicly non-stop, I get about 25-30 minutes in my Juggy.... although it's geared down to 315:1, single MM, Super Rooster and a cheap NiCd 1500 pack. 5 minutes sounds really short... time to regear and slow it down.

One Titan, Emaxx tran, 72spur, 10pin, BFTs, 2000mah & 3000mah Radio Shack batts and I get about 20-30 min run time depending on how hard I am on it. I go through servos more than batteries
