Default Txt to maxx shafts

When useing emaxx yokes on a txt trans, do you guys shave the trans case or the yoke to get it to fit without rubbing. i tryed searching but no luck.

I'd shave the yokes. I actually put the yoke for the tranny on the axle and used a 1/2" sanding drum in my dremel. I held the dremel to the yoke and fired it up. It spun the yoke along with the pinion the opposite direction and quickly reduced the yokes diameter. In fact I have them if you want to buy them. $10 shipped sound fair.

I shaved the yokes. And now I am switching to revo shafts which require no trimming at all

I also just put mine on i was a tight fit to get them on but once there on i could a piece of paper between the tranny and the shaft.I guess it did shave it self becuase i just checked and it has more room now....

wait, the REVO shafts will fit on the TXT-1? i hadnt even thought of that. I was concerned about the length of the stock drive shafts, and I knew the maxx ones rubbed.... yay!

so, how hard is it to make the revo ones fit?

i would say that revo shafts are definetly the way to go on a txt.
