Anyone running these?

Anyone running the permax 600 motors in a txt-1?

Thanks, Chris

heard they have a lot of torque and very easy on
the money

can the evx esc handle 2 ?

RCALLOYS 03-06-2005 07:04 PM

I run one in our TXT through a 3.8:1 planetary reduction. Can beat them for the money, $8.00 at Tower I think. Plenty of torque and they provide long run times as well. Far as an EVX handling them, I would think it could. However might wanna wait for someone else to answer that for ya ;-)

wander how many turns that those are? found a old motor i had laying around that the shaft was bent took it apart for kicks and counted the turns on it and it had 60 what a bummer it wasnt any good .... but thats a great price on these if there about the same as a lathe motor

Thanks everyone

Triaxmaster, I wondered this too. I emailed Integy & they said that their lathe motors are rated at about 2,800 RPMs at 12VCD input. Permax 600 motors are rated at 17,500 RPM. So if you think, most people run on 6 volts, take that into account & the motors are about the same as far as RPM's. Just my thoughts, guess we won't be sure until someone testes both motors.
