Yeah on his second run he did, I missed his first run though. But it sounded like he had a rough time on the first run, he really turned things around for his second run.

thanks guys,yeah I was trying to get use to the rear steer It seemed to pay off in my 2ct run.but hell Im happy with how the truck did frist time out.I just need to make a new chassi:-(

Did you grind the steering stops off yet?

As far as chassis, make cool one.

Try the c channel it works great on my clod.
3/8"X3/8" 1/16" thick.

if I go with c then I have to make new chassi mounts and body mounts.what do u'll think about 1/2" by 1/2" by 1/8"

You should be able to use the same mounts you have now with c channel, just get longer bolts and some spacers to use in the channel where you mount it.

jsut got the c ch bolted up and it has way to much flex so looks like im going with 1/8" angle

Lee, I can bring a section of the channel I used for mine to the next comp if you can not find anything you like locally.

Channel is the only real way to go. Angle just can't take the sideload impacts.
