I know it's here somewhere. I just saw it last night. Check in General Crawling. try a search for GD 600. I've ordered mine should be here soon.

those are great, did you have to use any special mounting brackets or drill new holes in the motor plate?

Do you think 2 of those will fit on an Emaxx tranny? Also, Do you need to use reverse motors?
thanks

I would think in a single motor configuation you could use a standard rotation motor just change the side it's mounted on.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

one would be good, running it with a 8 T pinion gives you something like 146:1 ratio

pics worth a thousand questions ;)
in order:
No holes drilled in motor plate or special brackets.
Never seen an emaxx, it does reverse rotate, I have a zero timed motor so I swapped wires.
Side does not matter.
I had two mag mayhems and switched to one 600 sized with the gearbox, never regretted it. Now I do have two motor plates, one with the single/gearbox and another without ready for 15t motor and 15 t pinion in case I feel the need for some fast bashing. Just unplug my motor connector and take out the four screws...swap in speed
I'm using one stock 15t pinion, it had to be drilled out slightly larger to mate to the gearbox, I have the 2.5 to one unit so I'm running at 85 to 1, still got good wheel speed here although I may go the next step down...141 to 1.

Is there enough material in a 9t pinion to drill out. I just got my 9t and it doesn't look like it to me. Has anyone done it with success?

Simtechray, I'm working on mine right now and I've had to drill a hole in the motor plate and enlarge the hole that the motor would sit in to accomadate the crawlbox. It's been kind of a pain. All this in addition to grinding down the shaft for my 9t pinion to sit. Which is an already known modification.

Yours is mounted a little differently than mine but anyway.
