Default Frame Material

After being unable to find a suitable frame for my TXT, ive decided to build my own. Im assuming the 1/4" of the stock frame is a little overkill, what thickness is everyone else using?

depends on what kind of frame your making, how strong you want it to be.

this is a txt chassis i cnc'd outta 1/8 alum and its more than strong enuff, just took more off the bottom (1.5 inches shorter than stock) and has held up great, and is lighter than the stock one!! the second pic i hacked all the red part off both ends for a clod build i am doing, third pic is the original comparison
