Cool

You probably already know, but I'll mention it anyway. When you go to the GD-600 you'll have to rotate tranny 180 degrees, so motor is facing the ass end of the chassis. Hopefully your tranny mounts will all still work/line-up. Just a heads up for ya.

Bender, I may just rewire the motor when I "upgrade" to the GD-600. I like the way my CG is now near the front of the skid plate.
I took it for a shake down run today and was very impressed with how it ran. I was doing stuff that would have rolled it before the trans clocking. THe rear drive shaft seems to be just fine at the ange it is in, I'm glad for that.

Yup, and that usually gets me in trouble.

Switching the wires, won't that harm the motor?

Teh motor is a 0deg timed motor so it is OK. The brushes may wear a little funny at first but all in all it should not harm too much.

I like the new body, looks mean!!

I still need to try rotating my tranny, I haven't had a chance to mess with it. Have you noticed any change in the torque twist since you rotated the tranny, from old set-up?

Torque twist is about the same as before. I am digging the new set up but it will really come to life when I get the gear reduction and slam the motor. I am thinking about a MM with a bit more reduction than you are running. I may just see if I can find a 27 turn 0 time motor also.
