well i tried to crawl the truck w/o the cants and i did not like the way it performes so I put them back on its not like it has 90** its in the 55**-65** range i like hanging a tire every now and then

"just a sugestion get rid of the battery on the side of the truck put it on the top links in the front they just my 2 cents"

I have tried a few different mounting positions but i cannot find one that works well with my set-up besides the twin batt setup where i have them puts more weight down lower for a better COG................But, I am open to any ideas I have rebuilt my truck 3 times now based on the feedback i have gotten from here on RCC

I just realized I now have $.04......................hey thats more than i had before!!

but it will crawl better with the battery up front. have you tried hard enough .id say get rid of a battery single battery is all you need what kind of motors should be getting an hour off of one battery i think youll eventually break the cati's off but that is just my 2 cents

i have ran it up front and the truck was O.K. but the down hill was a joke ..................but i have designed a "new" chassis after seeing and hearing all of the input!and it should be done soon which will ditch the twin batt set-up but keep the cants and all will set lower in the chassis and hopefully will be a better truck
