| hi, is there any advantage to use an e-maxx tranny instead of the original txt-1 tranny ?!? I aks because I can get a cheap e-maxx trannny. Is the e-maxx tranny as big as the txt-1 ? |

| I think they are used because you can change the spur gear. Which gives you more gear ratio options. But I'm not sure |

| Emaxx trannies are easier to gear than the TXT tranny- you have the option of using 32 or 48 pitch pinions. Also, the Emaxx tranny is a 2 speed, which is nice! ryan |

| It's also a tad "shorter". Another thing I like about it is that you can make brakets for it to mount anywhere or anyway you like. You are somewhat limited to how you can mount the TXT tranny. |
