Thanks. You know me don't you. I can't buy anything like a chassis. They are too easy. What I have is just a basic verticle side plate setup for now. Once I get the tranny in I will get started on that.

It will show. I am in no hurry. I have all winter.

I just got an email the tranny is on it's way.

So maybe a little motivation to get things rolling.

Also have a body in paint.

I will get some pics up once I have stuff in hand.

This is what showed up in the mail today.

This is 15 minutes later.

I am going to remake the output shaft pieces to have the correct shaft size. The bottom right of this picture.

The motor plate seems a bit flexy. I will have to see if it will hold up.

It is probably the GD making it flexible. Did you think of maybe eliminating the GD and just gear it down??? That or fab a more durable plate...maybe something that has mount below the motor to make it more rigid.

That is what I was figuring. So I will have to make something to support it more. I have a feeling I will need the GD to get the speed down. I also plan on running brushless on this truck so it will need to be tough. The GD needs some serious trimming to fit through the hole in the motor plate so that is some of the wobble I feel.
