Thanks again guys.

I just want to say, I IN NO WAY THINK I STARTED THE SLAMMED BODY THING!

I built this truck by reading my a** off, ON THIS SITE.

That's why I thanked everyone in the begining off my post.

I think that the shocks sticking up so high make it looked slammed more than it really is.

AWESOME PICS GRIZZ.

the slammed look isnt really about looks more then it is performance.... yes yes the body does hinder performance believe it or not.... it for one can get in the way of negotiating threw obstacles and it has a perdy good sized affect on the COG.... so having a low cut up bod is a performace issue as well as a looks cool issue... but id take performance over looks anyday, maybe thats just me tho

I agree, tall ass shocks sticking up over the body does look trick. I would use savage shocks and do the same thing if I were using Xfactor axles.

"NAKED" as promised.

Another shot of battery tray, you can kinda see my tranny mount behind body mount. Made bracket that ties crossmember to gear shaft in tranny.

Clocked GD-600 keeps motor just under top of frame rails.

To lock out rear axle I machined delrin spacers that sit between axle housing and outer knuckle.

Wannabe, I'm not offended at all by comments made by the OG's, I just wanted to state that I didn't think I started the slammed body thing.

I did, however perfect it.

Not really, in my opinion, it's working pretty good. I still get a little body roll from torque twist. But I don't really have any torque steer issues. I'm hoping to get a lot of feedback, on how it works, at the raffle drawing sat. Because I have never run w/ any other rigs on this site.

Yeah sorry I meant torque twist. I am used to talking about real cars all day and torque twist is pretty damn rare in 1:1 cars.

Harley0706,
I had a lot of torque steer and loading and unloading problems when I ran this set up on my TXT. I made some sway bars that helped alot. But what really makes this set up perform well is the low gearing that Bender is using. I think I saw a GD600 in there this past weekend. His crawler is one awesome shafty! I believe that you need very good low gearing to keep things under control with the savage shocks and I never used the ultra low gearing.

Thanks for the compliments WannaBeDigler, I am using a GD-600. The combo of that and shocks standing up so straight, I think, really help fight torque twist.

I'm extremely happy w/ how it performed at raffle, for being my first run w/ anyone on this site. I think you had already left raffle WannaBe, I did make bonus line in second comp, first try, w/ ease. Then I rolled on top, probably one of the easiest sections. So I've got some tweaking to do as always. Either that or I need to learn how to drive.

Last time I was at Jason's house, I made that climb very easily with my TXT based truck. A shafty has a much easier time with that obstical than a clod.

Was that TXT Super Digler? I would love to see that thing in action. I love the clearance under those axles w/ kongs. 8O

Maybe some day Roctapus will get a set.

I like it, it is very smooth. I've had 2 of them and they work great, but it has double pump reverse which I could do w/out.
