Tanis built a 2.2 TXT comp truck, but I don't think he was ever able to get it dialed in to his liking. The biggest issue I see is lack of steering throw, even with a lot of grinding.

Look at RJ's 2.2 clods, Run hybrid 2.2/maxx tires, narrow width and most of all CVD's! than wuou will have enough steering and potentional to run in the 2.2 comp class i think. But i could be wrong

Yes is more diffecult to make a clod or txt run better in the 2.2 class
but thats just the great part about it!

well i have aluminum knuckles that came with the TXT axles and they got to full lock. however, i don't have stock knuckles to compare them to. as soon as i get some tires mounted, i'll post the pics of my throw.

I would also like to get some 4:1 gears. Someone needs to spill the beans on where to get them, or we need rc4wd to make some for us

With the addition of a dig setup, steering wouldnt be a problem. Ive got stock knuckles on my axles right now with CVDs and im steering about as tight as possible with what ive got.. Ive done a lot of grinding and notching, the knuckle arms actually touch the axle housing at full lock. I think that with what ive already got and the internal rear dig setup that Don designed, 2.2 class wont be a problem.

Eggressor is the man, those are his design. Theyre definetly on my with list. And we definetly dont need rc4wd making them, those guys can **** up a wet dream...

finally got her finished... check her out...

She had a 30 sec run before the rear wheel started to wobble. I guess the TLT hex pin was too small. Fixed now and can't wait to test her limits.

Some pics with my 2.2 tuber:
