Heres a little something that I aquired in a trade with JIA..Got it today and threw it together to see what it looks like!...Im pretty happy wiith it so far but the colors got to go..Plans are to strip and powder coat. Itll get an emaxx tranny and possibly a BL system..Itll be used as an everyday crawler/basher/trail rig..Rear stear is locked at the moment as I cant decide if I want 4 wheel stear..Any ideas?..Enjoy... |

sorry man thats not a hulk works frame thats the frame i built a couple years ago, but that is where i got the inspiration from, i loved his red one he built so i built this one and ran it in the super class for a year then i got into 2.2 so i sold it to a guy in washington state. cant wait to see what you do with it, this is first time i seen it since i sold it. good luck with it man i'll be keeping a eye on this thread Last edited by RocJoc; 11-18-2007 at 08:22 AM. |

I'd leave it that color and build panels for it and paint it like Walkers rig. Then I'd have someone make me some beadlock rings for it that looks like Walkers wheels, but I've been a Walker Evans fan since I was a kid ;) And you could run the rear steer or leave it off. When Walker first built the car it had rear steer, then after a couple events he took it off;) To bad JIA didn't let me know he was getting rid of that...... |

My mistake RocJok!..Nice work bro I really like it!!..Now I see why its this color!..Hey Jason you can still have someone make ME them beadlock rings to match the Walker Evans buggy..Then maybe ill keep it this color...I still havne decided what material I want o use as pannels..Lexan or aluminum sheet..The 1:1 buggy looks great too!..As for rear stear I may leav it the way it sits as that leaves one less high torque servo that I have to buy.. Hey mods, if possible could you possibly change the title to reflect the correct builder of this chassis..Id like to give respect where its due..Rocjok says he built it so iid like it to say that...Thanks!... |

o0o - Looks like another fun project bud! I agree, rear steer is probably fun to have but just one more thing to deal with. If its a trail rig just go standard. Looking forward to this re-build.

Evans is to US off-road racing what Cash is to Country music, he just chose blue instead of black |

Oh man, that is a cool vid, but if you were there that day, it is creepy to watch also. I like the idea of keeping it Walker colors. I too am a fan of the guy from years before rock comps and he didn't stop amazing me when he hit the rocks either. I remember him attacking the Matterhorn at SLC and he dominated it. When he got over it 3 times, he wanted more. Biggest balls I have ever seen. -Sam | |
