Hey, go with a 1/4 scale steering setup with the stock bumpers... yea the angles are decreased alittle but you'll never have a problem with steering... go to towerhobbies and get 2 of the Hobbico CS-80 1/4 scale servos there only $29.99 a piece and have 343 oz/in of torque... I used them on my Jugg crawler and they worked awesome... Later Jake |

In my opinion, I'd take the front clearance over the big servos. The big servos take a lot of juice to operate. You can see my servo plate that I made in the tech article on the home page. If you want, send me your email address and I'll get some close up shots of mine and you can copy it. Boy.....if someone only sold a template or the actual plate?!?!?! :P |

By the way...I hear that a guy named Skyjacker is making them and giving them out for free! You might want to try him! |

1/4 scale servos have to use a reciever pack with a Y-harness cause t hey drain alot of amps but they have crazy torque. good speed and a great price... 1/4 is the only way for a real crawler... in my opinon Later Jake |
