guys newbie here. recently bought a used txt-1, primarily for playing together with my sons Tamiya Hummer. basically it is fully stock. Have read some of the modifications made by some forumers here, like the $20.00 dollar mod. But since I'm here in the Philippines and parts are hard to come by I wanted to make it perform a bit better by removing the cantelever suspension. What other suggestions can you make as to where I should put the shocks that will make decent articulation, this will be usually be played by me and my son who is bashing it, popped a rear link yesterday when I was not looking (6 yrs. old). also so that it can go head to head with stock F-350 and TLT. was thinking of putting the upper mount to where the cantelever hole was. thanks guys.

this is what I have tried to do. removed the crossmember and used the hole to mount the shocks. BTW are these stock txt shocks? used some old ball mounts for the lower mounts from my old school JRX buggy rear suspension. will be buying longer screws tomorrow and will try out if this set-up will work. guys need your inputs. |
