Default driveshaft ?

So I want to stretch out my txt but I'm not sure what to do about the metal driveshafts I have. Do I cut them in half and weld in a section? Would JB weld work? I dont want to go back to plastic cause with both axel's locked it snaps them pretty quick. Any thoughts all you txt experts?

Thanx!
Mark

Well from wha I know your options are the plastic maxx sliders or the stainless steel shafts in this post:
