Yup, they deserve it since the possibilities for a scale build with these are almost endless, and crapbucket is still down:-(

How do you like it with a gear reduction unit? May we have a video of it running? I've been wanting to put one of these on mine for a while.

That's top speed on the video btw, i high centered it a couple times but still managed to get through with some throttle, also if you go with the gd-600, a regular size 540 can won't fit unless you mod the battery tray and then you have to find another place for those stick packs. | |

Looks good! Is that the same Fj you've had for a while? You gonna keep that color or repaint it something different? A few of these FJ/CC01 builds have been popping up and It makes me want to go ahead and get another CC01 so I can put my FJ body on it.

Well i hadn't used my fj in a while, so i was looking at it and i decided i would try the "mall crawler" look, i had some front buggy wheel and some dirt hawgs and decided to give them a try, they are the same height as the previous 1.9 tires on the fj and much stickier, here are some pics of how it looks i'll try to get some vid as soon as i remember to bring back my camera from home. |

So i finally got tired of the rear sagging on the fj due to the stock links flexing so badly, and made some aluminum mounts for the new links and shocks, i might try changing the upper links as soon as i test the new configuration, i will now also do the front body lift since the rear is not sagging anymore, and also my Pajero will get the same treatment |

Street force dogbones, which are a couple mm longers to accomodate the longer distance between the diff and axle stubs.

After 4 years i decided to cut the smaller lugs on a set of mud slingers i have, they definetly work diferently, and now feel softer ( as soft as this old compound can feel) . |

so every few years i make an update, i switched out the procar esc, (great little esc, mayor PIA to program, i think even JRH hated to program these puppies) it now sports a sidewinder, took it out for a spin, and it was great, so the cc fj cruiser a la JIA under $200 scaler lives on. |

Nice, a CC-01 is next on my list, that's 1 Tamiya chassis I've never owned.
