Looks great. Can't wait to finish stripping the layers and layers of paint off mine.

I started by drilling holes inside the tail lens with my smallest drill bit and then used an exacto knife and shapped files.

Then I used some sheet lexan and some light buckets from one of my 1/8 Tundra bodies.

THen I spliced a on-off switch into my TLU-01 so that I could turn the lights on and off without removing the body.

Very nice 'Jero! I like the paint as well. Mine's orange with black (painted it after watching the Oranje kicking everyone in the face during the first round of Euro 200, but it was my first hard body and didn't turn out as well as yours.

Do you know if they'll ever release that kit? I get kind of annoyed when I see all of the other stuff they're releasing that aren't the cc01 steering fix. Will they have time to work on it before they release the game-changing rc4wd gyro unit?

We have one I've developed and I have some getting finished today I hope. Lots of the local boys want them for the upcoming CC-01 Adventure series we are doing. Its not as fancy as the full aluminum one from RC4WD, but its SSTL and is very strong. It also includes a Drillbit and bearings/hardware to convert the idler arm to bearings as well.

I'm almost ready to post a thread about it on here. But be patient, help is coming:

JSSuper, your inbox is full!

Are you still offering your steering upgrade to the buying public?

This is the first I have seen it.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I tried to PM first! Honest!

Digging up some old threads, are you? Here is the only production steering upgrade....http://www.fusionhobbies.com/GPM-CC-.../gpm_cc048.htm. It's about $16.
