my restored cc01

I bought this cc-01 chassis a month ago for dirt cheap from craiglist. I took everything apart and restored it with some modifications in the front and rear. The front is lifted about prob 1/3 of an inch with some spacers and new shocks. Its finally drivable now, and I am just waiting for a good deal on a nice body.;-)

It's actually not that hard to lift the front suspension. You will need:
1) nuts or spacers, longer screws
2) 2 washers and o-rings (put an o-ring inside the gearbox joint, and use a washer to extend to overall length - both of these steps will prevent the dogbone from falling out)
3) some filing
4) a set of longer steering rods and upper control arms
5) new shocks of course

You will need some tuning to get the alignment and everything right.

I added some hilux wheels and tires today as well :)
