Default cc01 touareg build thread

I am just going to post a few pics up of the body I found for it etc...
going to use the stock 27t motor to start with a blue xl5 and blue 2075 servo waterproof from traxxas

that body looks huge with that slash so far away in the back ground...

cool build, what are you going to do with it??? I always thought a hummer truggy would be cool....

that hummer body is rather large but the chassis wheelbase is 257mm and the body is 260 so I'm hoping for a good fit. As far as getting around to building it, I'll start it soon, I have a move to do in the next couple weeks but as soon as the last box is dropped and beer swallowed I'll likely tear into it and do a proper build thread here. I really want to make it as scale as possible. To the point of having a detachable snow plow on the front of it for winter. No idea how to make the plow actually work but I have a real one at my disposal so I'll copy it one way or another.

FYI, the build has progressed but the photos and write up are still in progress. to be updated very shortly. Got VERY sidetracked my my 1/16 revo and slash. I will stay the course and finish this thread soon!
