I responded with an order for two sets of the steering assemblies. I hope they are what we wanted!

well looking at that pic, it looks like the knuckles are going to be stock alloy...hopefully they improve that...

I have these. They are not a direct drop in replacement. They are steel. They are longer than the stock setup. You will have to get these knuckles for them to work.

I received an email back from GPM with the details of the pre-order and a picture of the steering parts. I will post the pic as soon as I get to a computer. I can't post it from my blackberry.

It looks like it is exactly what we are asking for.

they are asking for half the cost up front as a deposit and the remaining half when they ship out. And as stated before, they are offering 15 percent off for those of us who contacted them about producing these pieces.

I was told that they should start shipping in november.

Again I will post the pic as soon as I can.

here is the picture.

She said that the production units will have bearings even though the pic shows bushings.

Well,if the American suppliers refuse to produce parts, even though demand has been high.. good for them!

hear hear. i hope they make it out of a strong alloy though, i'd pay more than $13 if they're built to last. i've seen too many people complaining about their cvd's snapping on sites like rctech. btw, i got a message from clara when i filled out their web form a few months ago but never got the recent message promising me 15% off. how do i get in on that goodness, i could use that money to support my caffeine habit!

That's the pic that I sent her to show her what we are looking for in a steering setup. I did advised her that we want bearings instead of the bushings that are pictured.

Clara from GPM emailed me a list of the products they will be offering for the CC-01 and they included a lot of other parts besides the Steering assembly set....
On the Alloy C hub and suspension arms....are they an exact copy of the original without any mods? In other words installing these alloy suspension arms and c hubs would put the cc-01 back at its stock height and clearance?
I tried looking at the website for photos of the parts but I cant find any...

i have to say the customer service at this company rocks, i too got an email back from clara.
i have been discussing how we use our trucks, and how some of us are using department store bodies on the chassis, creating the need for adjustable wheel bases. i explained the use or desire for a new propeller shaft, and a 4 link kit is on the list she said.
they are very quick to respond and are eager to learn more about our wants/needs.

i have pre ordered the steering setup.
very cool info.
