I got an email back from Clara about my order. She informed me that they now have the Universals in steel....#SCC245. Got my order placed for these and the steering kit. I will wait for the other pieces when they hit full production here soon. They expect the knuckles to be in the HK by next week and the C's are still in the sample process and expect to receive them in about 2 weeks. Once they get these, then they can get them into mass production. |

| Here is a pic of it...more uploading...
I will use the red anodized set as it stands out among all the black and aluminum for illustration purposes... All the parts included in the kit: Here is a pic showing the parts it replaced (please excuse the dirty chassis lol): Close-up of the steering assembly... This is a really good upgrade for any stock XC steering especially for the price...and not having to hunt down all the parts to do the mod. Initially I had some problems after installing the kit, it was binding a little and I realized it was the screw on the right steering arm(the one right in front of the drive shaft). It was rubbing against the chassis and took it apart and replaced the stock spacer/washer (shown in pic #3) in its original location and its all good to go! Looks awesome, has it tightened up the steering a buttload or what? You gotta get rid of those stock links too mate, they are sloppy as hell. I used some turnbuckles with traxxas ends, heaps better and adjustabler! |

Stupid question does anyone have the link to where you purchase the CC01 steering links? I cant find one on the http://gpmracing.com.hk/catalog/index.php site or this site either http://www.gpmparts.com/shop/ So where do I go? |
