CC-01/XC owners.... GPM Parts, Please read.
 

I know this doesn't contain any real "tech" but since this is a closer net group of users in this part of RCC, I wanted to have every CC-01/XC chassis user to help me get GPM to produce nifty aluminum parts. I have already sent them a email about wanting to see aluminum upgrades as well as important steering replacement parts made in aluminum!

I have gotten a response back and they said they would look into the CC-01/XC based platforms BUT I want everyone to send them a message to think about making steering parts!! If someone can do it, I'm sure GPM can.

Go to this page, fill out the info and make sure you let them know that the CC-01 is worth their time to produce parts! I want a steering system!

Thanks guys! I really hope they start to make anything for the CC-01/XC chassis vehicles. Even if it's just stock replacement parts for bling, it'll be options for us to choose from. Plus, plastic parts suck.

I got the same email. someone please forward them the bearing race steering mod so they can produce lots of kits. My servo mod may be too much for them/most owners.

This is awesome news. it's not often that a company will listen to a handful of people. yet to say they're tooling up and will have option parts within what looks like 60 days, amazing. I have some GPM parts for my other vehicles and I like them. I like their Ti. stuff too. w00t "thumbsup"

Yup, got the same e-mail from Clara, funny thing is i am actually tempted into getting all that bling for my cr-01:mrgreen:, good thing is we are getting responses from them, that means they are actually listening"thumbsup"

Oh so that's what that Clara email was.... I saw the attachment and just deleted it. You can't be too safe, you know.

I got this response back this morning!

Dear Mr Michael Stallings,

Thank you for your enquiry to us.

In these days, we have received a lot of enquiries about Tamiya CC-01, now we are waiting for the car to arrive in our office and then we will transfer it to our own factory to make options. The steering knuckles, assembly, shocks will be fast to come.

We hope the car will be arrived to us within this week, and so we can get started as soon as possible and then we hope to have some options out at the end of August.

If you have more ideas to us of what are great to make first or special design of any parts out of original design, please feel free to send to me.

Recently, we have parts for the Tamiya Land Cruiser CR-01, do you play this car as well ? I attach to you here pricelist and photos of the parts we make and we have a lot more to come for this model soon !!

anyway, hope good things come out of this..I to am in need of some steering...also said maybe some lower links or even traction type ladder lower and upper rear links...

well, I just got the email that the truck just arrived and are ramping up production after test fitting all teh parts they have that might fit. :) They are doing the knuckles and universals first

Now if we can just get a US distributor for GPM.

I know my local hobby shop stocks several GPM products. I know Gerrish would bring in CC-01 GPM products.

should ask rpphobby to stock them also
